Description/History:
Civil War brevet brigadier general who was a 1st lieutenant
3rd United States Artillery during the Mexican War.
During the war he served with the rank of colonel as
aide-de-camp and chief of subsistence Army of the James,
and Department of the Gulf. He was brevetted brigadier
general for faithful service March 13, 1865.
