Full Name: Private 95th Penn. (ca. 1864)

Description/History:

A nicely tinted full standing view of an unidentified
private of the 95th Penn. Vol. who proudly wears
that regiment’s distinctive zouave jacket with
regulation army pantaloons. Upon his kept can
be easily seen a VI Corps insignia. His regiment
fought valiantly throughout Grant’s Overland
campaign, and during Sheridan’s Shenandoah
Valley campaign in 1864 losing heavy casualties
until the war’s end.
